Who We Are
At Reptile Alley we are a small family owned reptile store in Boise. We specialize in exotic pet care including reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and more! We strive to help you care for your pets and give them the reptile supplies necessary for a great life!
Our Story
Our names are Daniel and Renee. Daniel has always had a love and passion for reptiles starting with his first garter snake named Frank who turned out to be Frankie when she had a litter of babies. Renee has always had a love for all animals but had never had any interaction with reptiles until she met Daniel, and the passion started from there! We have been rescuing and keeping reptiles in our home since. We realized how expensive feeding snakes can be so we started breeding rats in our basement. Once we started over producing rats we started selling them to other reptile enthusiasts in the community and we did that for three years! Discovering the need for quality feeders and filling a void in the treasure valley we pushed our rescue/hobby/rat breeding into something bigger and the idea of Reptile Alley was born!

That being said we go above and beyond to make sure that you are well taken care of from the moment you step in our store to the moment you leave. We strive to have the best products at affordable prices so that you can provide your pet with everything that they need without question.

As Reptile Alley has grown so has the team, adding passionate animal lovers like Tristan, Piper, Zane, Landon, and Jess (not pictured above). Together we bring a spirit of excellence, accountability, and hometown pride in every animal we sell.
What Sets Us Apart
Rodent Feeders Bred In House
We have been breeding our live rodents in house for four years and continue to grow healthy and sustainable feeders so that you can feel comfortable that you are feeding your snakes the right diet. We raise all our rodents on a low fat custom to us diet to grow lean and healthy meals.
Bug Feeders
We pride ourselves in offering the widest selection of bug feeders in the treasure valley. All of our bugs are gut-loaded, hydrated, and packed with nutrition for every stage of life your reptiles demand. We are extremely picky who we purchase our bugs through and only look for quality, reliability, and vendors who care about cleanliness. Rest assured our feeders are hand picked for quality.
Ethical Sources
We source all of our animals from ethical breeders so that you can be sure that your new pet is happy and healthy.
Live Plants
We carry an impressive selection of beautiful live reptile safe plants, so whether you just love collecting exotic plants or wanting to build a bioactive enclosure, make it stand out with all sorts of colors and species you don‘t normally see.

If we don’t have an animal or product that you are looking for then we would be more than happy to look into special ordering you one!
Boarding
Going on vacation and have no one to take care of your pets while you are away? Look no further! With our boarding service you can drop your pet off with us and no longer have to worry about them while you are away. We treat all reptiles that we board as if they are our own pets!
