Hermann’s tortoises are small to medium-sized tortoises. They typically grow to about 6-10 inches in diameter, they can live 50-75 years with proper care, they are herbivorous, and they are gentle, curious, and active during the day.

We don’t carry Sulcata tortoises in store but we can special order them for you if you have the proper set up and understand the care requirements and size that Sulcatas get. They are one of the largest tortoise species in the world. They can live 70-100 years with proper care, they can grow 24-36 inches in diameter, they are herbivorous, and they are generally gentle but can be strong and stubborn.

Red foots are a medium-sized tortoises known for their reddish orange scales on their legs and head. They are a high humidity species making them more complicated to care for than most desert tortoise species. They are known for being hardy, long-lived, and relatively social.

We do not carry leopard tortoises in store but we can special order them if you have the proper set up and understand the care requirements and size that Leopard tortoises get. Leopard tortoises are named for the bold, leopard-like black and yellow patterns on their shell. They are slow-growing, long-lived, and get quite large.
